“A futura memoria” is a tribute show to Anna Politkovskaya, a courageous Russian journalist who paid with her life in 2006 for her search for truth, freedom and justice. Film and theatre actress Elena Radonicich proposes a selection of texts written by the journalist, giving voice, body and life to her ideas once again. The readings are alternated with music by composers that the Stalinist regime censored on charges of “formalism”, among the most famous being Dmitrij Šhostakovičh, Aram Khachaturian and Boris Ljatošyns’kyj. The actress will be musically accompanied by the creator of the show and first violin Valentino Corvino and the Iris Ensemble, an all-female string quartet.

The ancient deconsecrated church in the center of Perugia, thanks to careful conservative restoration. it is now an auditorium and conference center designed to offer maximum flexibility and host musical and theatrical events, shows and conferences. The stalls are divided into three sectors: the main nave and the two transepts with a total of 512 seats.
