ANIMA MUNDI

“The earth does not belong to man, it is man who belongs to the earth.”

The show Anima Mundi stages the eternal conflict between human ambition and the life force of the planet.

The first part, "The Breath of the Earth," opens with a raw and symbolic contrast: the dance gives voice to war and man's will to dominate, to make nature succumb, and to draw boundaries. It is the tale of an illusion of dominance that clashes with the profound reality of our connection to the soil we trample.

Through the two acts of the performance —from the tension of the initial conflict to the rediscovery of "The Magic of the Union" — the audience is accompanied on a journey of awareness. We are not masters, but part of a living organism.

Between evocative choreographies that portray the awakening of the elements and the delicacy of life, Anima Mundi is an invitation to lay down the arms of domination to return to being "different flowers of the same immense garden".

This choreographic story comes to life through the talent of the students of the KIDANZA project of Rotolando srl-sd: a great essay-show that sees every course at the school alternate on stage, from little dreamers as young as 3 years old to adults. A time of sharing and growth where dance unites all ages in respect of our Earth.
