In a room full of memories and expectations, in which to live to transcend oneself, Molly Bloom - character from the last chapter of Joyce’s Ulysses - is a modern Penelope, an eccentric ex-singer-actress and child prodigy, who would still want her audience, a fallen star trying to rebuild his career and at the same time to mend the plot of the more recent past, perhaps removed or clouded by a detachment.

Instead of patiently waiting for her husband Leopold Bloom to weave the canvas, she chooses the ethics of the body, the center of the full and vital world, above and beyond modesty. The result is an example of female writing, language freed from male speech, in which we see the strong and ironic dark lady Bette Davis, the anguish of Monroe or the grotesque and sorrowful looks of Norma Desmond on Sunset Boulevard...

Freely traversing the powerful and universal writing of Joyce, the show traces in parallel a kind of tender, glorious and disruptive homage to the great ladies of cinema of the '900, icons of freedom, creativity and gambling.
