A super closing evening of the 2025 edition of the Trasimeno Blues Festival, with the participation of an authentic legend of black music for more than half a century: Bobby Rush. Winner of 3 "Grammy Awards" and 18 "Blues Music Awards",  member of the Blues Hall of Fame, Bobby Rush will open the evening in a traditional version, guitar and vocals, then join the Crystal Thomas Band for a finale that promises to be chilling. Well told in the docuserie "The Blues" by Martin Scorsese, is famous his cameo in the original Netflix "Dolemite Is My Name" with Eddie Murphy. Bobby Rush has recorded records for almost 70 years and has more than 400 recordings, 75 career releases and 28 studio albums under his name, including the latest "Young Fashioned Ways" release, recorded in partnership with Kenny Wayne Shepherd, with whom he is currently on a world tour. His style, defined by himself "folk-funk", is a mix of rural blues and funk, interpreted with a good dose of self-irony, playing the role of the country storyteller, as well as the criminal from the suburbs. "Living Blues Award" in 2020, Crystal Thomas is establishing herself as one of the best singers on the contemporary Black scene in the South of the States. In the voluminous mass of the young blues soul singer from Louisiana, they condense to perfection energy, feeling and interpretative abilities. A past as a trombonist with Johnnie Taylor, two solo albums, in "New Dig This! " of 2021 appear legendary names like Lucky Peterson on the organ and Chuck Rainey on the bass, but above all it emerges an explosive charge that turns on stage in all its drag positive energy. He arrives in Italy to present his project live with a super band enriched by a section of exceptional brass
