Castello di Campello Alto - Campello sul Clitunno

The castle of Campello, built in the 11th century by the Burgundian baron Rovero di Champeaux, is a fortified settlement located on the top of a hill, in a dominant position over the Spoleto valley. The intact city walls, with a circular plan, make the small village that grew along the access road towards the plain side unique.
