Built in the 1950s by Pietro Clarici, it was conceived as an imposing multifunctional structure.
The Politeama was completely renovated in 1998 by his son Pier Domenico and transformed into a four-screen multiplex, maintaining the largest room as a cinema/theater.
The first structure of its kind in Umbria, it was awarded the Agis-Anec Golden Ticket as one of the most innovative creations in Italy.
