A brilliant comedy of errors that tackles highly topical themes with a light touch and plenty of humor.
The Perbonos run a luxurious brothel, desperately trying to balance the books and maintain order in an already chaotic environment—all while contending with the exuberance of Gaio, their decidedly over-the-top accountant. The real challenge, however, is keeping the visits of the Honorable Felice Lamonta under wraps; he is a very special client whose presence could trigger a major scandal.
The plot is enriched by a cast of irresistible characters: two nurses, a doctor, an unconventional mother-and-son duo, and—above all—a furious wife ready to stand her ground.
The result is a whirlwind of comic situations culminating in a "vibrant" surprise ending.
