DEC in Concerto

DEC (Disclav Epic Catto) was born from a pun taken from a comic book in April 1995.

In April 2000, D.E.C. recorded their first EP, "Il sogno di Nemo." In October of the same year, "IL CINEMA DEI TELEFONI BIANCHI" was released, a musical piece in two acts, written and directed by D.E.C. On December 28, 2000, the piece premiered at the Smallest Theater in the World: the Teatro della Concordia in Montecastello Vibio. It was followed by performances at the Teatro S. Angelo in Perugia, the Teatro Torti in Bevagna, and the Teatro Concordia in Marsciano. They participated in Arezzo Wave and were among the finalists for the Umbria Region.

In 2004, they recorded their second EP, "Fotografie." In July, they participated in the "Musica per i Borghi" festival as the opening act for Tetes de Bois in Castiglione della Valle (PG). They participated in Rock Targato Italia and were among the finalists for the Umbria Region.

In 2007, D.E.C. recorded their first album, "Nel fondo di te," an album arranged by D.E.C. and Marco Rinalduzzi (producer of Giorgia and Alex Baroni). An intense live activity followed, bringing the group to the remarkable milestone of approximately 70 live dates in 2008, 2009, and 2010.

In 2008, they participated in the "Festival Nazionale degli Interpreti" and were among the finalists for the Umbria Region. In September, they won the special prize for the work "Nel fondo di te" as part of the City of Marsciano Youth Creativity Award.

In December 2010, their first live album, "Live tournée 2010," was released, while their second album, "Niente canzoni d’amore," was released in 2013.

More recently, D.E.C. Together with writer Antonio Pascale, they presented the show “Songs for the Earth,” created to illustrate the importance of preserving the environment and safeguarding our planet.
