EFFEDIA – Omaggio a Fabrizio De Andre'

EFFEDIA emerged from the meeting and collaboration of musicians from Cagli (PU) and Sassoferrato (AN), all united by a profound passion for the music and poetic vision of Fabrizio De André—one of the greatest singer-songwriters in the history of Italian music.

For about a decade, the group has presented a tribute concert dedicated to "Faber," with the aim of keeping his artistic legacy alive and conveying the full, evocative power of his songs—tales that explore themes of marginalization, freedom, love, humanity, and social redemption.

The project also draws inspiration from the sound and arrangements of Premiata Forneria Marconi (PFM), whose contributions—most notably during the historic theatrical collaboration at the Teatro Brancaccio—infused some of De André’s most famous tracks with new energy, lending them a distinct rock and symphonic dimension.

EFFEDIA offers a performance that weaves together music and emotion, honoring the original spirit of the songs while highlighting their musical richness through intense, engaging arrangements.

Their work is a journey into the poetry of Fabrizio De André—a heartfelt and passionate tribute that, for over ten years, has brought musicians and audiences together through a timeless artistic heritage.
