What happens when words stop describing the world and begin to reveal its depths to us? What happens if literature no longer wants to explain life but transform it? When books, songs, poems don't tell only stories, but open gaps, passages to be crossed?

The Threshold of the Invisible: Literature such as Dream and Vision passes through an open space where language meets imagination. From Giordano Bruno the heretic to William Blake the visionary; from James Joyce the inventor of the word to Tom Waits the dreamer of the nightmare; from William Shakespeare, the father of ghosts to Bob Dylan the singer of the eternally poetic: the show is a dizzying journey through texts and visions, voices and prophecies, in which we let ourselves go to grasp the invisible. To train oneself to interpret reality and to open oneself to new and unusual observations, moving between different fields of knowledge, Professor Terrinoni leads the audience among distant voices that dialogue as between stars of the same constellation, between writers and artists who have dared to push the word beyond its own limits.

The lectio-spectacle is a journey through time, into an era, as Joyce said, “in which you and they were us”. It is an itinerary whose only goal can only be freedom: because exposing ourselves to the abyss of literature opens us to infinity and makes us infinite. The poetic word thus becomes, for us, a place of transformation, in which what seemed possible becomes real, and reality can only be grasped with our eyes closed. Because the task of great literature is to ask questions, not to provide answers: and to help us expand the boundaries of our existence.
