Forever Dylan

An immersive show that traces the first twenty years of Bob Dylan's career, from the ‘60s to the very early ‘80s, when the songs of what would later become the singer-songwriter who won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2016 reached their highest peaks. This is the project of the “Forever Dylan Band”, the musical group made up of Francesco Ragni (vocals), Gianluca Meloni (drums and percussion), Stefano Trabalza (guitar), Marco Matteucci (bass), Claudio Scarabottini (keyboards) and Giulio Fortunato (narrator), which brings the show dedicated to the American singer-songwriter to Italian theatres.

The project is a true journey through time, some 20 years, through Dylan's best songs-from Blowing in the Wind to Mr. Tambourine Man, from Like a Rolling Stone to Hurricane-but not only that. The music, with arrangements close to the original versions, will alternate with recitative moments through the aid of a narrator who will tell the origins and history of some of the most significant songs by the Minnesota minstrel. Furthermore, during the performance of the songs, the Italian lyrics will be projected to make the impact of Dylan's lyrics even more effective. A project to appreciate the poet who changed the history of Rock or to get to know him for the first time and understand his modernity especially in a complex and dangerous historical moment like the current one.
