Who is that red atomic bomb who, at the center of the scene, sinuously removes a glove to the beat of the music?

E’ actress Rita Hayworth, icon Gilda, or former child prodigy and flamenco dancer Margarita Cansino?

Or, again, is it just his interpreter, Giulia?

Scattered fragments, visions: the thread, inexorably red, of too many lives in one. And none really whole. Exist only through the eyes of those who look at us or try to understand something about ourselves, with the risk of not recognizing us?

Beyond the identity dilemmas between person and character, the question continues to concern us. Everyone. As well as the constant and, at the same time, failed dialogue that Rita-Gilda-Margarita maintains with the “male”: the Father, the Producer, the Director, the Lover, the Accomplice.

They too, volatile shards of moments, stories, regrets, between the spotlight and the darkness, the sense and the forgetfulness. While scenes in a film appear real to us and reality proves illusory.
