Halloween in Rocca

The scariest night of the year in a spine-tingling fortress! On Saturday, October 31st, the Sforza Fortress of Soncino (Cremona) takes on a spooky atmosphere. "Halloween in the Fortress" returns, featuring terrifying settings within the stronghold's underground passages and courtyards. It is a medieval village overlooked by a fortress with imposing crenellated towers—a place of legends, dragon tales, underground tunnels, and damp dungeons where history blends with fantasy and the supernatural. Here, diabolical beings and helpless creatures have left their mark throughout Soncino’s centuries-old history. In short, it is the ideal place to spend Halloween night. The most famous wicked witches from classic and modern fairy tales are hiding in the fortress's nooks and crannies, waiting to give out candy to children. Only the most observant will manage to track them down in their chambers and break their spells with the cry of "Trick or treat?" During the evening, you can try your hand at the wizards' scriptorium and watch fire shows, while musicians get everyone—young and old, humans and specters alike—dancing. The event is organized as part of the "Terre del Drago" (Lands of the Dragon) tourism and cultural project.
