The Porta Vecchia Theatre Company of Acquasparta stages the tragedy "La Reina di Scotia", by Federico Della Valle.
The tragedy, written by the author from Asti in 1628, is inspired by a recent historical drama, that of the Catholic Mary Stuart condemned to death by the Anglican Elizabeth I in 1587. The tragedy speaks of the last events in the life of the Stuart when, after 19 years of imprisonment, she was reported to a court that condemned her to death.
