Marco Paoli's comedy imagines the encounter between some famous heroines created by William Shakespeare.
In Lady Macbeth's house, a strange party is organized to which other female figures such as Ophelia, Desdemona, Juliet and Cleopatra are invited.
The women, from different stories, find themselves talking about their lives, their loves, and the tragic destinies the author wrote for them.
During the meeting, jealousies, regrets and reflections emerge. In an ironic and funny tone, the protagonists question their life choices and in some way those of their creator.
Ultimately, the play becomes a reflection on the relationship between author and characters and on the fate of female figures in Shakespeare's theatre.
