Liliana Rampello lives and works in Milan as an editorial consultant. From 1972 to 2007, she taught Aesthetics at the University of Bologna and has published important studies on the works of Marcel Proust ("The Great Quest") and Virginia Woolf ("The Song of the Real World"), of which she also edited the complete edition of Woolf's essays ("Turning the Page") in 2012. From 2001 to 2008, she wrote the column "Ai libri non si resiste" (Books Cannot Be Resisted) for the magazine "Via Dogana," published by Libreria delle Donne in Milan. She has also collaborated with "Il Verri," "Rinascita," "Studi di Estetica," "Nuova Informazione Bibliografica," and "Il filo di perle."
