His film debut came in 2014 with Diego Bianchi's Arance & Martello, which premiered at the Venice Film Festival. His TV series, Skam Italia and Summertime, were followed by his move to X Factor in 2021. A heartthrob on Netflix and host of Italy's biggest talent show, Ludovico Tersigni, born in Rome in 1995 and raised in Nettuno, masterfully ticked all the boxes to become Italy's teen idol. Then he decided he didn't want to be one: "I was riding a wave that was too big. I would have crashed on the rocks. It was a dream come true, but it took up too much of my energy. I needed to reconnect with myself."

After leaving the set, he left for India after X Factor. He discovered yoga and began analyzing metaphysical texts. He describes a "stray" period. Some time earlier, he had begun studying sculpture, to reconnect with a manual dimension from which his acting career had distanced him. Soon, the longed-for union of spirituality and manual skill would find its synthesis in a new form, another personal interpretation of the Luz, an ancient symbol of resurrection and rebirth.
