Event information
*Anime fragili* (Fragile Souls) is a lecture by Matteo Saudino based on his latest book of the same name—a journey into the existential fragilities of our time, exploring themes such as loneliness, the political crisis, technological anxiety, and the taboo surrounding death.
A teacher, activist, YouTuber, popularizer, and writer, Matteo Saudino—known to the general public as BarbaSophia—is part of the Produzioni Fuorivia family. Born in Turin, he teaches Philosophy and History at the historic Liceo Gioberti and has collaborated with the University of Turin as a lecturer in Political Institutions at the School of Specialization for Teacher Training (SISS).
He created a highly popular YouTube channel—garnering over 60 million views—where he presents philosophy as a tool for critical reflection on society, politics, education, and social justice. In his outreach work, philosophy and history become instruments for questioning the present and acting with awareness; for Saudino, "doing philosophy is an act of rebellion."
