The Inner Journey of Umbria Green Festival, curated by Gloria Campaner, is a unique experience to rediscover and rediscover yourself. A day in which we will learn to let things go. Letting go, as our guests will explain, does not mean giving up, but learning to live fully in the present, with gratitude, lightness and happiness. It means freeing ourselves from the invisible weights that we carry inside, to make room for the new and the unexpected.

We begin with meditation and with practical tools to overcome fears related to loss and change, learning to serenely welcome the natural flow of life, to rediscover inner freedom.

Practice to remove

Starting the day by observing the inner state is like filling yourself with energy before starting a journey. Through Yoga meditative practices we get in touch with breathing, with the five senses, with the movements of the mind, to observe what is there. The practice of being witnesses of the inner state, Drastha Bhava, through non-judgment and awareness, will lead us deep into a state of pacification. The Shanti Mudra Pranayama will bring new physical and psychic peace, while the powerful vibrations of the Gayatri Mantra will awaken the body and mind as soon as we wake up, and will make us welcoming towards the practices of the day.

Mario Raffaele Conti Biography

Mario Raffaele Conti is a professional journalist, writer, yoga teacher and radio speaker. He is the director of the web magazine «Rispirazioni- Meditazioni contemporeanee» (www.rispirazioni.it). He is a teacher of Raja Hatha Yoga, Pranayama, Meditative practices. He trained with Antonio Nuzzo, who guided him in obtaining the four-year European diploma (FMY). Today he attends continuous training with the Yoga School Satyananda Ashram Italia of Montescudo (Rn) and with the master Antonio Nuzzo. In April 2024 he received the Mantra Diksha from Swami Niranjanananda Saraswati, through Swami Anandananda. He is also a Kriyaban of the tradition of Paramhansa Yogananda, in the way of Roy Eugene Davis. Passionate about Anthropology, he has studied History, Indian Philosophy, Political Science and Reform Theology. He is 1st Chieh of T’ ai Chi Ch’ uan (Chang-Dsu-Yao School). He was a d.j. of Radio Montecarlo in the Principality of Monaco, sports reporter for the daily newspaper «La Notte», central editor of the weekly «Oggi» and contributor to the monthlies «Yoga Journal» and «Yoga Mind». With Elia Perboni he wrote «Yogananda changed my life» (Ananda Edizioni, 2018) and «Daily practices of happiness» (Yoga Journal/Morellini), the show-conferences «Yogananda Revolution Experience» and «Daily practices of happiness», and acted in the comedy «My Sweet George». He is also the editor of Antonio Nuzzo's book «The gifts of yoga» for practicing a full life (Yoga Journal/Morellini, 2019).
