OperettAlzheimer is a loving tribute to the tragicomic two-handed solo that accompanies the emptiness of this disease. A solo, because you're unspeakably alone when faced with someone who no longer recognizes you. Tragicomic, because life often (fortunately) is like that. Two-handed, because that's all we have, and sometimes it's not enough!
On stage, puppet and puppeteer intertwine, blending together following the poetic logic of the show, where the boundary between animate and inanimate becomes very, very thin.
OperettAlzheimer is an Allegro ma non troppo, because the Lady has a beautiful character. Although she constantly forgets everything, mixes things up, gets confused, gets angry, and forgets again, she has a beautiful character: she hums, smiles... and goes about her day: an Ave Maria, a bit of radio...

Teatro Mancinelli - Orvieto
The Mancinelli Theater is an important artistic and historical symbol of the city of Orvieto. Located in the center, a short distance from the Duomo and the main square, it was inaugurated in 1863. The hall, with the shape of an Italian theatre, has four tiers of stages, a loggia and has a horseshoe plan . It can accommodate approximately 600 people.
