We live chasing and copying models of happiness that don't belong to us, according to which perfection, the pursuit of predefined, uniform aesthetic standards, the same goals for everyone, and only the achievement of these goals make us worthy of the happiness we long for.

But who said that?

Is Life Beautiful? No, It's a Type is a semi-serious discussion (very semi-serious and not very serious) that helps us get off the bandwagon of conformism, that aims to open our eyes to the countless paths we can take to seek our own happiness. The world puts blinders on us, and we take them off.

Is life beautiful? No, it's a pattern, a hymn to flaws, irregularities, and peculiarities—those elements that pave the way for poetry, art, and reflection.

Your life can be beautiful too; you too are masterpieces!

Our diversity makes us unique. Perfection is boring, it dulls us, but strangeness and irregularity become our strength.

What remains in your memory about your beautiful friend, who was lucky enough to be born perfect? The imperceptible stretch mark on her right breast. You think only of that. It's the only thought that allows us to move forward.

Life isn't beautiful, but it's a pattern, full of obstacles, difficulties, injustices, problems, and in the joy of moving forward and the pursuit of happiness, we feel alive.
