The Medieval Historical Reenactment of Soncino (CR) is not a representation of a specific historical event, but rather a reconstruction of daily life in the 13th century, in perfect living history style. For several years, the Confraternity of the Dragon and the Corte XIII secolo, with their philological spirit, have brought to life the medieval life of the garrisons inside the Sforza Castle. In the square of the Sforza Castle in Soncino (CR), there will be stalls and shops of merchants and artisans at work, showing you the secrets of ancient medieval crafts. Inside the fortress, groups of reenactors will demonstrate scenes of medieval daily life, wearing their high-quality costumes and faithfully crafted settings, the result of extensive study of the 13th century.
You will be transported back to the Middle Ages not only thanks to the recreated settings and battles within the event spaces, but also to the numerous entertainment programs designed to engage visitors of all ages. A unique event designed to captivate both adults and children: be enchanted by falconers, entertaining performances by jesters and jugglers, medieval music and dance, and participate in the many workshops and guided tours of the fortress: all included in the ticket.
