Specchi Deformanti

"Specchi deformanti" brings different eras and languages ​​into dialogue, through

reflections and sonic contrasts. Beethoven's Romance, Op. 50, famous for its

singability , opens the program with classical elegance, followed by the

Sonata, Op. 5, No. 2, where lyricism and virtuosity intertwine in a revolutionary

writing style. In counterpoint, Schnittke's Sonata No. 2, with its

unsettling and fragmented atmospheres, offers an ironic and

dramatic sonic portrait of the twentieth century. The program closes with Roberto Molinelli's Presenze riflesse,

a contemporary homage to Schnittke, who reworks his musical legacy with brio and originality,

creating a play of mirrors between the past and the

present.
