Stefania Auci holds a law degree, which earned her a job at a law firm. She later devoted herself to teaching and writing, one of her greatest passions. Her love of writing led her to write for pleasure even while in university. Her first novel, "Florence," set in Florence during the First World War, was published in 2015. However, it was with "The Lions of Sicily" (2019) that Auci achieved success. "The Lions of Sicily" is the first chapter of "The Florio Saga," followed by "The Winter of the Lions" (2021). "The Florio Saga" is a true bestseller, with 150,000 copies sold and thirteen editions. The fruit of months of field and archival research, this historical novel is a refined work that strikes the right balance between reality and fiction, between history and characters.
