The first in chronological order of the three major urban theaters, it was built on the initiative of the Perugian aristocracy. Located in Piazza della Repubblica, halfway along Corso Vannucci, it has a number of usable seats equal to 418, of which 178 in the stalls, 72 in the first tier, 84 in the second, 84 in the third. The fourth tier is not yet usable, but its completion will allow it to reach a capacity of about 500 seats.
