Tuscia" intertwines Guido Barbieri's story with musical pieces, in a
journey inspired by Goethe's verses. From Mozart and Schubert's Lieder, imbued
with introspection and lyricism, to the virtuosity and depth of Mendelssohn's
Piano Trios, the program alternates vocal and
instrumental pieces in a continuous dialogue between words and sound. Liszt, with his
dramatic intensity, adds a touch of passion. The result is a
poetic-musical journey that unites history, nature, sentiment, and art.
