The Piano Grande of Castelluccio di Norcia is the gigantic green heart of the Sibillini Mountains National Park, on the Umbrian side. It is a gigantic grassy plateau that was the basin of an ancient lake. You can get to the Castelluccio plateau from three forks; two are in the Marche region (Forca di Gualdo and Forca di Presta) one is in Umbria and does not have a real and unanimously known name.
