This recital explores Water not as a descriptive image, but as a sonic material and poetic transformation. From Liszt's Romantic landscapes to the Impressionist visions of Debussy and Ravel, the piano becomes a liquid surface: reflective, turbulent, transparent, and unstable.
Irina Ten represents a new generation of pianists characterized by a refined sensitivity to color, texture, and timbral imagination.
Her approach prioritizes the sound itself, allowing Water to emerge without imitation.
In this program, Water appears as a continuous metamorphosis: spring, storm, reflection, and movement. The listener is invited to experience
the piano as an elemental medium, in which touch, resonance, and silence shape a constantly changing soundscape.
