Event information
In 1559, a doctor, examining a patient, noticed a tiny lump on the upper part of the female genitalia, something he had never heard of.
When he announced to the Faculty of Medicine that he had discovered a nearly invisible anatomical part in women that, when stimulated, "caused strange nervous spasms," the doctor was arrested for "witchcraft and heresy."
Today, the Inquisition is no longer in existence, but the way we talk about sex is not much different: debate is heavily censored, sex education in schools is a mirage, and those who insist on discussing it use serious, medical and political tones.
And so we forget that sex is above all fun, and in fact, laughter is the best approach to address certain topics. Sexuality and comedy have one important thing in common: pleasure!
"Clitoridere" is a show that addresses sexual taboos with jokes, so we could say it's an evening of oral sex. The goal, of course, is to enjoy: to enjoy the freedom to talk about it openly, not to provoke but to "be provocative."
Far from clichés and caricatured language, in his monologue, Daniele Fabbri recounts anecdotes, analyzes words, and shares scientific and historical curiosities related to the sexual sphere and, above all, our way of relating to it, somewhere between adolescent immaturity and conformist self-censorship.
All this not only to counteract a lack of awareness on the topic, but above all to put into practice the primary purpose of comedy, and even sex, which is to give us moments of pleasure.
