The Caio Melisso is the oldest Italian theater in the city of Spoleto. It played the role of the city's main stage until the construction of the nineteenth-century Teatro Nuovo. The theater is located in Piazza del Duomo, has a capacity of three hundred seats and is considered one of the most elegant in Italy.
