456 is the comical and violent story of a family that, isolated and closed, lives in the middle of a valley beyond which it feels the unknown. Father, mother and son are ignorant, distrustful, nervous. They throw accusations, refill a tomato sauce left by the grandmother died years ago, fight, pray, hate each other. Each of the three represents for the others what is most detestable in the world. And yet a truce is needed, because a long-awaited guest is coming, who can and must change their future. Everything is ready, everything is perfect. But the truce will not last. 456 born from the idea that Italy is not a country, but a convention. That not having a cultural, moral, political unity, Italy today represents a community of individuals who are simply against each other: for precariousness, uncertainty, mistrust and fear; for lack of common aspirations. 456 is a comedy that tells how the germs of this conflict are born right within the family - which should also be the unifying nucleus, the defense of the individual: the family feels hostile towards the society around it but ends up embodying its most damaging values, encouraging mistrust, hostility, cynicism and fear. 456 tells the family as an outpost of our cultural backwardness. The show was taken from the homonymous television sequel, produced by Inteatro and aired on La7 within the program "The show must go off" by Serena Dandini, and the book "4 5 6 - Death to the family", edited by Dalai.
