The show is a theatrical adaptation of the novel “Neve”, written by Maxence Fermine. The text sings the poetry of winter, snow, whose sound is heard through the voice of Yuko, a seventeen-year-old Japanese boy who wants to become a poet, the poet of snow. When the fame of his works reaches the poet of Emperor Meiji, he immediately goes to Yuko's village and is enraptured by the beauty of his haiku. However, he notices that the young man's writing is devoid of colors, it is white, like snow. “If you want to become a complete poet, you must first learn to color your poems, you must possess the gift of the absolute artist.” The court poet advises the young Yuko to undertake a journey to southern Japan to meet Soseki, the greatest Japanese artist. Thus begins for Yuko an initiatory journey towards art, love and being an adult. The passage of time on stage is marked by the words of the actress Enrica Chiurazzi and the music of Raffaella Lisi, a classical pianist and versatile composer who will paint music as if on a canvas.
