Compagnia "Le voci di dentro" presents a comedy in two acts by Eduardo De Filippo

Written in 1936 and freely based on the comedy La fortuna si diverte by Athos Setti, Dream of a Half-Drunk Night speaks of dreams, lottery winnings, superstitions and popular beliefs of a painful humanity, which only in this way can think of a better future, to survive the present.

In Dream of a Half-Drunk Night the popular lotto game turns into a bet between life and death, between the world of the living and the world of the dead. The community of family and friends, close to the protagonist and his drama more for selfish self-interest than for solidarity, provides Eduardo the opportunity to develop an aspect, the choral one, of his dramaturgy.

And with a surprise ending that is never consumed, once again Eduardo, with pungent intelligence, offers an opportunity to reflect on our way of being in the world.
