Event information
We all love Ennio Morricone is a theatre-concert show that intends to bring to the public the authentic testimony of a professional, artistic and human collaboration experienced for two decades alongside Maestro Ennio Morricone.
The show in fact proposes songs taken from the CD of the same name produced by Luigi Caiola, manager and musical producer of Maestro Morricone from 1997 to 2015, to celebrate the Oscar for Lifetime Achievement, proposed with the same orchestrations and arrangements and accompanied by audio and video materials created or approved by the Maestro himself, by some musicians who have shared their career with the Maestro for more than twenty years, both in the recording studio and in live concerts around the world.
Morricone's historic musicians are joined by an orchestra composed of 28 young Umbrian musicians from the ViVas! Lab workshop created specifically for this show.
The repertoire includes Morricone's most famous songs, including: Once Upon a Time in the West; The Good, the Bad and the Ugly; Duck, You Sucker!; The Ecstasy of Gold; Mission; There Was a Fly in America; New Cinema Paradiso; Put, One Evening at Dinner; Malena; If, Telephoning...
The musical performance will be interspersed with interventions by a narrator who will give the audience stories, anecdotes and life and professional experiences taken from the book of memoirs Luigi Caiola, published in 2023, and by the screening of fragments of the video interview "My life, my music" in which Maestro Morricone himself talks about himself, his ideas and his work, while images and photos from his concerts and his private archive scroll by.

Teatro Luca Ronconi - Gubbio
The Teatro Comunale di Gubbio, formerly della Fama or Condominiale, began to be built in 1713 with more modest dimensions than the current ones. An academy specifically formed by noblemen from Gubbio promoted and financed the initiative. Internally, the building was designed and decorated around 1737 by the architect Maurizio Lottici and the painter Giovanni Mattioli, both from Parma, with the superintendence of the abbot Bartolomeo Benveduti. The Theatre was inaugurated during the carnival of 1738, and from the beginning it was used for plays, concerts and burlettes. The structural situation became critical in 1822: from this year began a forty-year period of intense planning and profound transformation of the building.
